Wed. May 19th

Good flight to Munich and we both got about 3 hours of sleep!
When we were 1.5 hours from Munich....we flew over the English Channel,
Paris, Strasbourg..............finally arriving in Munich!

Short wait before our next flight to Barcelona. Flew over the Alps, then Marseille, then the Mediterranean Sea....and finally to Barcelona. Two short hours! Beautiful day here today. Sunny and 70 degrees!

We have just gotten to our hotel.....The Grand Marina Hotel. It is out on the end of a big pier. Our cruise ship is to pull up nearby this hotel tomorrow!

We will go out and explore now. Lot's to see and do right here by our hotel!

  5. Hey Mags!!! Who knew that Barcelona would be so COOL? We just spent the last two hours walking around the port. Saw the largest yachts we've ever seen in our lives! One had the "Grimaldi" family name on it and was about 150 yards long! UN-BELIEVABLE!!!
We've stayed up all day and walked around La Rambla street which is full of people, markets, artwork, restaurants, etc..... It is now 8:05 pm and we are about ready to drop. Will hit the hay soon. We have a driver for half the day tomorrow (9 to 1) to take us around and see the high spots! Then, we'll have a quick lunch and board our cruise ship at 3 pm!
I've been trying to upload pic's tonight....to no avail. Will keep trying.
    More lata, baby!
