Well.....we have made it successfully to the Des Moines Airport! Meredith was a masterful driver and my sister Heidi rode with us and is leaving to go back to Arizona at basically the same time that we leave! Handy!
Had a delightful lunch at Francie's. It's such a great little spot near the airport. And they have a great Reuben sandwich, to boot!
Ask Stu about his handle on the various languages we'll be speaking! Heidi can attest to the fact that he's got it down pat! ("Prego!")
Blogging is.....well.........new to us. So, this may be a bit "rough."
Stay with us and we'll try to take you on a wonderful
tour of the Mediterranean.
Just said good-bye to Heidi at her gate and are dashing towards our gate to catch our
flight to Chicago!
