We are "bookin'" tonight on the Med Sea. Going 15.3 knots.......the fastest yet.
Fun sailing this evening because it's still light and usually we sail at night - so we are seeing little islands out our cabins sliding doors. Pretty soon, we'll go by Corsica - which is a large island.
On our "day at sea"......we cruised 288 nautical miles. Tonight, we are sailing 188 nautical miles....so, long haul.
We had a a good "last supper" at one of the restaurants tonight. And, Stu won some $$$ at the casino before dinner, as well. SO.......all in all a great day! As the Italians say, "Fantastico!"
We are going to study on Rome tonight. So much to see there......so much to do......we need to gets our ducks in a row before we get there.
Packing was interesting. We've acquired small things along the way......but the small things ADD UP! :)
Looks like Iowa is having a pretty day today.

....somehow, from where I'm sitting...the trip went by SUPER fast! I'm not ready for it to be over...and my wonderful distraction (blog) to be finished! I've really enjoyed cruisin' with you! xo
ReplyDeleteI know...the trip is going FAST now. But while we were cruising....it didn't seem so fast (thankfully!)
ReplyDeleteHad the best meal tonight at La Cabana. You'd never find it on your own...and the concierge would never recommend it.....but we loved it so much! Small, family-owned place with GREAT FOOD and an open fire going tonight to cook meat over. They had us get up from the table to show us their fresh fish case. :) I tried Monkfish for the first time....very good! Stu had Sea Bass. YUMMO. We will go back Monday night for our last dinner before we come home. We would go back tomorrow night...but they are closed on Sundays. :( A very good tip from our guide today!
